You can view the periodic notation in Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repeating_decimal#Notation

Spanish notation is an arc over repeated numbers.

In latex is possible with yhmath package.

Implementation equieres specific smnode tracing an ellipsis, as tall as widehat, and with it's focus and center on the baseline of the rectangle.
