Description Niki biki 2020-11-19 18:10:19 UTC
Description:
MS word cycles every word when the cursor is somewhere inside the word and all other words are not affected.
for example:
My name is niki. If the cursor is around "niki" it changes like so: niki => Niki => niki => NIKI. This doesn't affect all other words!

In all versions (I tested 6 and 7) of LibreOffice this doesn't work correct.
If I write:
"My NAME is niki." and start cycling the case around niki, the words, the first press of shift+F3 doesn't do anything. Next cycle is: "My NAME is Niki." and the third cycle is "My name is niki." where if the cursor is next to niki the NAME has changed to name. It should be staied as before since the cursor is not there!

Seems like the cycling sequence doesn't start from beginning when I select a new word. It is continuing no matter that I'm doing it in another portion of the text. So if the last one turns all letters capital and I go to a new word somewhere, the next cycle doesn't do anything if the first letter is not capital. I have to press two times shift+F3 to move the first letter capital.

It's a small but, but I will be thankful if you fixed it!

Best Regards
Niki

Steps to Reproduce:
1. cycle between "Cycle case"
2.
3.

Actual Results:
My NAME is niki.
My name is Niki...

when the cursor is around niki

Expected Results:
My NAME is niki
My NAME is Niki
My NAME is niki
My NAME is NIKI

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:

The sequence of cycle case does start from a new word as expected
It should be like so:

niki
Niki
niki
NIKI

known issue, needs a tweak of the Sentence case transliteration.

See bug 49033 and dupes.
