Description VistaMail1 2020-11-30 09:08:12 UTC
This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-fc576822-8fbd-4644-840d-54e6728154f3.
=========================================

recently my former vey stable LO crashes frequently. This time it happens on hitting the icon "save". This save-request is the crash-trigger often.

Version
7.0.0.2 (x-64), which I cannot find in the list above.

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

thank you for the reply.

How to reset the user profile?
I found in your link something about a safe-mode, which never started for me in the past.

And I can read, where the user data are located.
But not such a thing, what is the profile exactly and how to "reset".

and a hard thing:
if my LO is instable and I cannot say, when and how it crashes, - how can I say if "the problem is fixed"?

so, I am afraid, I am no step further.

Type in the address bar of file explorer: %APPDATA%\libreoffice\4\user

And safe-mode
Launch LibreOffice -> Menu Help ▸ Restart in Safe Mode

it is not about to FIND the files of my profile.
It is about how to reset them. Just delete them?

And what shall I do by safe mode?
The problem occurs every some days.
One start of several douzends has the problem. The next start (NOT safe) is fine again. So I am not sure, what safe mode can do.

Once you restart LibreOffice in safe mode, you can delete the user profile selecting the option 'Reset to factory settings' and selecting its children

I do not have this version any more. In the version after, the problem is solved.
