Description Jimit Shukla 2020-12-03 14:11:20 UTC
Description:
When Open Libre Office after a recent update, the left most pane has a black background and only icons are visible and no text is readable until I hover my cursor over it. But when I open it in safe mode the pane goes back to normal, I also tried resetting my user profile to factory settings but nothing happened.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Libre Office.

Actual Results:
Background colour and text colour of the left pan are black so nothing is readable until you hover over it

Expected Results:
Background colour and text colour of the left pane should be grey and black receptively

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Yes I did disable Skia as it was instructed by you earlier and it also lead to solving of my problem.

And I looked for the option that you asked for but there is no direct checkbox to enable high contrast appearance but there is a checkbox for 'Automatically Detect High-Contrast mode of Operating System' which is ticked already.

Would be nice to hear, if you can enable Skia/Vulkan in 7.1.5 or newer. We have a functionality that prevents "bad" graphics drivers from using Vulkan, but we have to manually add the drivers to the exclusion list.

If you can use Vulkan with 7.1.5+ and the problem still appears, you could attach the skia.log into this report as advised in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Graphics-related_issues_.28Skia.29

If the issue is gone, locate %APPDATA%\libreoffice\4\user\cache\skia.log and attach it to the bug report.

Yes now even after enabling skia the issue is not present, thank you :)

Great, then there is no need to exclude your graphics driver as Skia/Vulkan works :)
