Hi! I prefer to run the stable version of LibreOffice, since it's tested more, and I don't need cutting-edge features immediately. I also like the Update feature for the suite, since it lets me know when new versions of LibreOffice are available. However, it seems that the current "stable" version has been notifying me there's an update for LibreOffice, but the only new version available is for the "early adopters". I get notified every time I start the product, so I've stopped checking the website now, since I still find no updates for the stable version. Will you please add a feature that, if the stable version of LibreOffice is installed, only updates for the stable version are shown to the user? (Alternately, this could be a configurable option, if that seems better to you.) Thank you!
The 7.0.4 will shortly become the "stable" branch, on release of the 7.1.0 The 6.4.7 release is EOL with no further TDF dev effort (though community members/linux distros may continue to bundle and patch), and currently for 6.4.7 release the 7.0.4 "stable" release is already being offered. The update "available" logic is centrally maintained by project release engineers and correctly reflects the timed release branching/numbering.
