Description Dan Dascalescu 2021-01-10 23:32:40 UTC
I have my laptop connected to an external monitor, which is primary and in front of me. The laptop is to the left of the primary monitor and I need to turn my head ~45 degrees to see what's going on there.

On the primary monitor, I open an ODT document. When I select text and press Ctrl+K to add a hyperlink, the Hyperlink dialog opens on the laptop monitor (at least the 2nd and subsequent times I've tried this). This gets annoying, as I have to drag the window to the primary monitor, and because I can't just paste the link quickly due to bug #131859.

The issue happens to some extent in Calc too - the Hyperlink dialog is placed at an X cordinate of 0 on the primary monitor.

The Search/Replace dialog is not affected in either Writer or Calc. It's correctly displayed in the middle of the window.

I'm running Linux Mint 20.1.

I cannot test, but let's assume this a duplicate of general issue with window position in multi-monitor setup.
Please test other bug and set this one Unconfirmed again only with an explanation why it would be different.
Best to test with daily master, easy from
