Description burbat 2021-01-18 15:45:14 UTC
In LibreOffice 7.0.3.1 I have replaced single quotation marks with “French quotation marks” (ie ›(U + 203A) at the beginning of a word and‹ (U + 2039) at the end of a word): Tools - AutoCorrect - AutoCorrect Options - Locale-dependent options. The replacement works perfectly at the beginning of the word, but instead of U + 2039 U + 2019 is shown at the end of the word (›Test’). If I add another single quotation mark after this replacement, then the correct character (›Test’ ‹) comes out.

I can confirm this in 7.0.3.1, and as well in

Version: 7.0.4.2 (x64)
Build ID: dcf040e67528d9187c66b2379df5ea4407429775
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE
Calc: threaded

Version: 7.1.0.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 53d68d29d90fd16448721a60aad68c28ff0809f5
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE
Calc: threaded

The bug only applies to single quotes, it works correctly for double quotes.

No longer reproducible in daily master or stable builds. Updating Status to RESOLVED - WORKSFORME. Note: the original issue was only reproducible in v.7.0.3.1 when the "Default languages for documents" setting was set to "German (Germany)" under Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages > Default Languages for Documents
