Description: REPORTBUILDER: In Base,I maintain a database for which I have defined several reports. I execute these reports. ReportBuilder generates the report as a temporary Writer document. When I close this temporary document (or perhaps when I quit LibreOffice?), LibreOffice deletes the temporary file from my hard drive. However, when I next launch LibreOffice, a thumbnail of the temporary document displays among the thumbnails of other LibreOffice files in the initial untitled window that appears. Clicking on this tumbnail produces an error message: /Users/username/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice/4/user/temp/lu185455ibn5j.tmp/2021 Deductions-Summary.odt does not exist. Since the report no longer exists, LibreOffice should not display its thumbnail in the initial window. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Using ReportBuilder, execute a report. 2.Close the report document. 3.Quit LibreOffice. 4.Start LibreOffice again, and observe the thumbnail image of the generated report. 5.Click that thumbnail image; observe the error message saying that the file does not exist. Actual Results: Thumbnail image of deleted temporary report displays in initial (startup) window. Expected Results: The thumbnail should not appear, since the file no longer exists. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Version: 6.4.7.2 Build ID: 639b8ac485750d5696d7590a72ef1b496725cfb5 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.7; UI render: default; VCL: osx; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
Created attachment 169031 [details] Screenshot of initial window, showing thumbnail for deleted file and error message Screenshot shows 3 generated report documents. LibreOffice deleted these files during a previous LibreOffice session, but their thumbnails still appear when LibreOffice is subsequently launched. Clicking on any of these thumbnails displays an error message, as shown in the screenshot.
This problem still exists in version 6.4.7.2, which I am currently using. The attached screenshot was taken with that version.
