Description Luke 2021-01-21 13:40:50 UTC
Description:
I have a pretty large odg file with 317 pages. Filesize is 320MB
(Details: consisting to 99% of (stacked) images with transparency)

Saving (as odg) and exporting as PDF works, till you select PDF/A-1b (which is very useful for prints as it removes transparency). Then it starts very slow to export but crashes after 1, 2 minutes entirely. Draw is gone and noting saved.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the provided (large!) odg file
2. Then file-> export as -> export as pdf -> all defaults except selecting PDF/A Version: A-1b

Actual Results:
Complete appcrash, no crashhandler and no exported file.

Expected Results:
properly exported pdf

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Since the file is pretty large, I can't append it here. Therefore I saved it on MEGA. This file will be eventually deleted, but it will stay for a few weeks at least: https://mega.nz/file/VMtFVCrb#BhxMwGbf_UCVYWscVSvia5V_DNQ3jIprYl3b-Kq-gjg

Hi Luke,
Could you please try to reproduce it with a master build from http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ ?
You can install it alongside the standard version.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the master build

Hi Xisco Faulí,

thanks for investigating this issue.
I tried the file now with the developer release 7.3.0 from 07-17-2021 and it works!
Export is quite slow, but thats no real problem.

-> No appcrash anymore and a properly exported file!

Thanks for the fix, I will close the bug now.
