Description R. Green 2021-01-31 13:05:46 UTC
Version: 7.0.0.3 (x64)
Build ID: 8061b3e9204bef6b321a21033174034a5e2ea88e
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win

Calc: threaded

1. Do a spell check on any document with spelling errors (F7).
2. Press the "Special Characters" icon in the "Check spelling" window. Select a special character (say, one with a distinctive accent), and press OK.

EXPECTED RESULT: Special character should be immediately inserted in "Check spelling" text area.

ACTUAL RESULT: You have to click within the text area of the "Check Spelling" box, to make the special character appear.

I was able to reproduce this bug in version 7.1.0.0.3

Additional Info:
When the Window is closed with the Close Button (without clicking the text area). The selected special character is added to the document even though it was not displayed in the text area.
