Description: Feature request: Hyperlinks in an alphabetical indexes. Sadly this is not the default, when creating an alphabetical index (as it is when creating a normal table of content) When allowing manual changes to the Index I am able to manually set Hyperlinks (and they work perfectly well), but sadly when refreshing the Index the manually set Hyperlinks are gone... Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a Index and some entries 2. Allow Manual change of Index and set Hyperlinks to sites of the entries. 3. Create new entry of Index and refresh Index 4. Actual Results: Manual set links in Index are gone!!! Expected Results: Manually set Hyperlinks at least should be saved upon refreshing the Index. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: See above.
Sonds to me like a duplicate of bug 71385. Could you please check this? => NEEDINFO
I would like to support this petition. This would be a wonderful addition and very useful for navigating between topics.
(In reply to Dieter from comment #1) > Sonds to me like a duplicate of bug 71385. Could you please check this? > => NEEDINFO The bug you linked is pretty similar to what I've reported. In fact, my current problem would be solved if hyperlinks could be added in the dialog, as described in the linked article, e.g. for tables of contents. However, one thing would still not be possible: If I wanted to manually link the index entry NOT to the page, but to another target (e.g. a website). I can do that by allowing manual editing of the index and inserting the desired links using the "normal" hyperlink function. But as soon as I update the index using the "Update index" function, the manually inserted links are gone. Or am I wrong?

But is it correct, that this would be the second step? Perhaps you could also add a short example to make it easier to reproduce the bug.
