Description: SVG to PNG export is kind of fuzzy/blurred without with compression at 1, 600 DPI, 30cm width Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attachment 169804 [details] and select the image 2. File -> Export -> PNG 3. Pick filename & select "selection0 & click save 4. Take a resolution of 600 DPI (or more). Set compression to 1 and height to 30 5. Press OK 6. Open the export file. Zoom in 200 or 300% and compare with SVG The text has compression artifacts. All the colored perf graph boxes have blurry borders (not as crisp and crystal clear as the SVG) And somehow the DPI does seem to matter.. Typing 999 DPI and 30 cm.. and still getting 309 DPI Actual Results: Bad quality and export doesn't match settings Expected Results: Compliance to the input given Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 28555fc345ac2ccdda0e4e0f3c812c646befe68b CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: default; VCL: win Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); UI: en-US Calc: CL
I tested exporting the selection as PNG with 30 cm width and 600 DPI. In 7.1.0.3, LO outputs a 15-mb file that is very blurry. In 7.2.7.2 and 7.4.7.2, same result: I get a 3-mb file with good results. Can you check if it is also resolved for you, Telesto? Version: 7.4.7.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 723314e595e8007d3cf785c16538505a1c878ca5 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded In 7.5.5.2 and 24.2, I get no text whatsoever on selection export (and misplaced text in full page export). But that's a different issue, maybe related to bug 153672. Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 77fca616e0bd79e0b405fd0b3543cf8e94e15df3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
