Description:
For field type Zahl[NUMERIC] the name of the field for the digits behind the dot (German:Komma) is wrong. It shoud read 'Nachkommastellen', but instead one finds the word 'Dezimaltrennzeichen'

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the table editor
2. define a NUMERIC field
3.

Actual Results:
Third row of the field properties shows the word 'Dezimaltrennzeichen'

Expected Results:
Nachkommastellen

Thanks for reporting this bug. I can confirm that currently the string "Decimal places" mentioned by the reporter is translated to "Dezimaltrennzeichen":

Although I don't speak German and can not judge if it's wrong and if "Nachkommastellen" would be the correct translation, there is at least another string "Decimal places:" that is translated to "Nachkommastellen:":

As https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Language_Teams only lists a mailing list as the contact for the German translation team, and adding arbitrary email address to CC doesn't work on Bugzilla, I'm also adding Julien to CC as he has helped with l10n bugs in the past.
Comment 2 Hans Zekl 2021-02-18 08:08:58 UTC
In previous versions the proper string "Nachkommastellen" has been used.

Robert: thought you might be interested in this one since it concerns Base + it's related to German language.

Ming Hua: I can help for xml syntax in general or French language.
Now if native people are ok with a translation, yes I can change it on Weblate quickly.
Comment 4 Robert Großkopf 2021-02-19 06:52:44 UTC
Indeed "Decimal Places" is called in German "Nachkommastellen".

Thank you for your quick feedback Robert.

Ming Hua: fixed here https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-master/dbaccessmessages/de/?checksum=d2b74cd2ae203aa

Of course now we must wait translation repo synchro with Weblate, etc. but let's put this one to FIXED then.
