Description Tanyasi 2021-02-19 22:33:35 UTC
Description:
In the sample file when I want to set the style of 'Morley', the size remains always 11pt. I want heading 3 and it has size 14. Even when I delete this line completely and type the title again, the size doesn't change. Even after restarting Libreoffice.
I created a sample 'Text' header below but it also remains size 11.
The first 2 headers worked.

Many times the writer doesn't apply the attributes to a paragraph when I change its style.
Sample
http://www.mediafire.com/file/0vga489e7oni1xy/LibreO_bug_sample.odt

Steps to Reproduce:
1.change the style of Morley
2.
3.

Actual Results:
It changes the style except the size.

Expected Results:
Changing size to 14.

Reproducible: Always

Additional Info:
What else could I write?

Hi Tanyasi,

I could not replicate in

Version: 7.1.0.3 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Can you please tell us the version info and OS?

This is not a bug but user lack of knowledge.
Please do not report a bug if you don't understand how styles work.
Use ask.libreoffice.org instead.
Sorry for not helping but Bugzilla is not a place to look for help.

I updated to 7.1.0.3 and this issue is still there. Win 10.

When I bring the cursor on the Morley line, click there and choose Heading 3 from the style chooser or I press Ctr + 3, or the hotkey of any other styles, it preserves the font size.
Even if I delete the whole paragraph of this line, press enter write something and set Heading 3 after it.

Once I set the font size to 14 manually - the font size of Heading 3, it works thereafter. It's quite unusual there is no button to apply the default attributes to a paragraph.
