Created attachment 170309 [details] Screenshots of 2nd monitor display problems in LO writer 7.1 I have a MacBook Pro (running Big Sur) with a second monitor. I just updated to 7.1.1 and when I open a LO document, it displays fine on the laptop's screen but when I drag it over to the second monitor, there are black spaces in the status bar at the bottom and the text is real small, e.g. "Page 7 of 13". It looks like each of those components doesn't fill up the space of its container. This happens with the rulers too. Then if I expand the window to full screen, the page is displayed shifted to the right so that half the page is off the screen and there is no horizontal scroll bar to view it. But at that point if I try to scroll the document vertically, it only scrolls half of the visible text. (I will provide screen shots). This happened with a couple of LO versions 7.1.x that I tried, but does not happen with 7.0.4
Created attachment 170384 [details] 2nd Monitor Render issue garbled text Confirming issue with Libre Office on MacBook Pro BigSur 11.2.2, LibreOffice: 7.1.1.2 documents, spreadsheets, presentations, everything... I can recover control and get the document to render correctly by dragging it to my laptop screen and making it fullscreen then non-fullscreen. The document then renders correctly on the second monitor but, I noticed there are now black boxes at the bottom of the document but, only on the second monitor. All documents work as expected on laptop screen.
Rule of thumb is search before sumbitting. See bug 138122 and grab LO 7.1.2 to see if fixed.
It took me a while to find the 7.1.2 dev build at https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/libreoffice-7-1/MacOSX-x86_64@tb81-TDF/2021-03-10_07.10.08/ It did fix my problem. Thanks.
thanks for testing. Fixed is bug where commit is, WFM is not known, but let's assume a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 138122 ***
