Description G. Woehlke 2021-03-27 09:47:47 UTC
Description:
The resizing of windows on an external monitor affects the size contents of the window.
System: MacOS X 10.14.6, LibreOffice 7.1.1.2 (German user interface)
Tested hardware: Eizo CS270 on MacBook Pro (13" eary 2015)
Details of the bug: When I open text or spreadsheet documents (.odt .ods) and display them on the second monitor, the content resizes with the window size. Text fonts become bigger, text documents cannot be centered (gap left from the content). The behavior is reprodubible and appeared with the upgrade to 7.1.1.2

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open .ods or .odt document
2. Move window to second monitor
3. Resize Window => the font and everything else in the window changes sizes

Actual Results:
1. Open .ods or .odt document
2. Move window to second monitor
3. Resize Window => the font and everything else in the window changes sizes

Expected Results:
Content of windows to big (if window size increased)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Resize the window frame, leave the content unaffected (font size, other content elements)

Can not reproduce with
Version: 7.1.1.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: fe0b08f4af1bacafe4c7ecc87ce55bb426164676
CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.16 / 11.2.3; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE
Calc: threaded

Maybe Mojave only?

Could you install LibreOffice nightly build and see if the problem persists using that build:
https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master

Note: To open LibreOffice nightly on macOS please refer to: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-developer-mh40616

If the issue persists with nightly, please add some screenshots of the problem or create a screencast using the onboard quicktime to allow qa / dev to get a better understanding of the issue you are seeing.

Thanks, a lot, Steve, the nightly build works fine. English and German.
