I use Calc for our accounts and I wanted to move old sheets to another spreadsheet. The dates (UK Format) in the sheets when moved change by 4 years and 1 day, e.g. 23/12/2020 becomes 22/12/2016. This happens with all dates in all the sheets I have moved or copied.
What is the version you are using, and could you upload a sample spreadsheet with direct reproduction steps?

The version of LibreOffice is Version: 6.4.6.2 Build ID: 0ce51a4fd21bff07a5c061082cc82c5ed232f115 CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.16; UI render: default; VCL: osx; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded (Finder says it is 6.4.6002) I have uploaded 2 spreadsheet files: the first is a duplicate of the file with which I had the original problem but with its contents much reduced and the second is the file into which the 2 sheet from the first file have been copied. I did the copy using the menu from the right hand mouse button on hovering over the sheet name. The first column in both sheets contains dates and it is these dates have been changed in the copying process. For example the first date in the Laura Ashley sheet is 12/11/2009 in the original spreadsheet and after copying it has become 11/11/2005. regards Bob
in the original spreadsheet there is a specific option for date go to the option menu (click on incon in the upper right corner) in the menu, choose 'options ...', 'LibreOffice Calc' and 'calculate' in this popup you have a section Date with 3 choices in the Original Spreadsheet the '01/01/1904' option is selected when you copy your data to another spreadsheet with the default option (12/30/1899) your date appeared to be different with 4 years less
Thanks. Problem solved. I have marked it as Resolved/Not a bug. I hope that is the correct thing to have done. Bob
