Thank you for your report. However it is somewhat difficult to understand.
The bug reports is lodged against a future Version 7.2.0.0 alphao+ Master and you refer to a development chapter DG6402 (ie Chapter 2 Drawing Basic Shapes), then a page in a development chapter DG6403 (ie Chapter 3 Working with Objects).
In the full published edition of the 6.4 Draw Guide Chapter 2 refers to the "use of glue points".

My best guess would be that somehow an incomplete development version of Chapter 2 was mistakenly published. Maybe it is time we stopped publishing copies of the individual chapters and only published complete finished, fully checked copies of the guides.

Glue points now in Chapter 8 in Version 7.1
