As a follow-up to bug 140719 we should consider a redesign of the Label dialog. Jmux kindly made a mockup that lists all properties at one tab, filled after changing brand/type. https://www.imgpaste.net/image/K7vhfs

The simple solution to bug 140719 is adding a static label to the col/row dropdowns, like "at" (the trick here is that the single label can be printed on any of the predefined positions with this option).

And the "Single label" should probably be a variant of  

"Single label at position: row [], column []"

or something like that.
