Description: When adding a comment that starts/ends in the middle of a word, this word is not recognized anymore by the spelling engine. Tested only in writer. Might be the case in other LOo tools. Steps to Reproduce: Steps to reproduce - Create a Writer document - (Set language for whole doc to US English - just as an example) - Type "This is a core problem" - *Note that "core" word is perfectly recognized by the spelling engine.* - Select 'or' part from 'core' word & create a comment with some text Actual Results: - Result: "core" word gets underlined with red waves, as *spelling engine does not recognize it anymore*... Expected Results: - Spelling should not depend on the existence of comments on any part of the text. PS: While following the instructions to fill this bug report, I clicked on the link to know if OpenGL is enabled. The instructions there are outdated: "Use OpenGL for all rendering" checkbox does not exist (at least in LOo7). Now there's one checkbox called "Use Hardware Accelerated graphics". But it might not use OpenGL... Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes [Information added manually] $ libreoffice --version LibreOffice 7.1.2.2 10(Build:2)
