Description: befor this version, navigator window could be fusioned (tiled inside the main document window) as a side panel. This can't be done anymore. Steps to Reproduce: 1. open navigator window (press F5 OR choose menu / display / navigator) 2. move the window to the (left) side of the main window Actual Results: in previous versions, the navigator was fusionned to main window as a side panel > in this version it can't be done Expected Results: navigator window could be fusionned as a side panel tiled in the main window Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: see also Bug 141961 and Bug 141952

Since my first repport, i have found that navigator can now be shown also in laterral panel. Thus my repport is yet actual for the possibilty to show both navigator and style pannels side by side or right/left side (in an advanced usage of the formating options of the software with old style icon bars, not this "time consummer ribbon for dummies"). so... - would it be possible to move sperately each lateral panels so they can be collapsed on different side of the main window ? - could the icons in the lateral pannels be personalised such as in main toolbars (apper or not, choose which line to appear) ? - could user choose which lateral pannel to activate and be visible so we can hide this space consuming latéral pannel selector icons (or collapse them) ? i know this is not main development topic, but this could became very appreciate UI mod to advanced users. plus : i had previously repported a bug about character and list styles selectors in toolbars that are showing paragraph styles to pick on instead of dedicated styles (character or list styles), so solving that aspect can help on solving lateral pannel navigation and UI aspects. (please tell me how to send a picture /sketch to explain).
So as far as I understand, original problem doesn't exist anymore, but you have some ideas for enhancements. If this correct it would be the best to close this bug as RESOLVED WORKSFORME and to open one (or probably two) new reports with your enhancement ideas.
