indiquer pourquoi ce fichier au format MP4 (MPEG) n'est pas reconnu
mp4 is a "container format", could you indicate what are the audio and video codecs of the file for this file?
Ideally, would it be possible you attach the file? (if there's no private/confidential part in it)
You can attach your file by using this link:

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today or with LO Debian package 7.0.4, I could insert the video without any error message.
Then I tried to play it, no pb to see the see/ocean with some sound.
Perhaps Windows only bug?
Anyway, I can't help here=>uncc myself.
I am an academic writer at the fastest growing paper writing service in the USA.If you want to write great works that impress your colleagues and teachers, take a look at the following list of the best essay books. I have attempted to reproduce the issue on OpenSUSE 15.2:
Version: 184.108.40.206 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 10(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.5; UI render: default; VCL: kf5
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.utf8); UI: en-GB
I can insert the MP4 video in Impress, but the application becomes unusable after inserting the video: I can't go to the Master slide or even to the File menu to close the Impress file. When I press F5 to activate presentation mode, I get a gray rectangle where the video should be and quitting the presentation does not work. I need to close Impress using Alt F4.
When I restart Impress, the application offers to recover the slideshow. However, if I do that, I end up with the same issues as described above. If I want to do something useful with Impress, I need to discard the file recovery.
Below are some of the data that VLC provides about the video:
* Stream 0:
- Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
- Color primaries: ITU-R BT.709
- Color space: ITU-R BT.709 Range
* Stream 1:
- Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
- Sample rate: 48000 Hz

This is what happens when you insert MP4 video
As you can see in the attachment, the result of inserting MP4 produces distorted image. Application freezes when attempting to play the video. However, when I start the presentation, it works fine.
Reproducible in 220.127.116.11. Application produces distorted image when inserting mp4 video. Application freezes when attempting to play an mp4 video using the built-in media player controls. However, when starting the presentation, the video plays properly.
