Description Germano Massullo 2021-06-10 13:17:16 UTC
I have an old .odb file in three copies, created with an old Libreoffice Base version.
When I try to open it, I get a message "general I/O error".
If you tell me how to retrieve debug info I could attach it to this ticket.
I cannot attach the .odb file for privacy reasons

Looks like a problem to read the file from disk.

Please test if you can open the file with a compression program like 7zip, or WinRAR.

Odb files are zip files with several files in it.

7-Zip can open the file

I am closing the bugreport since I found out that on my Linux installation Base does not start at all so the problem should not be related to this file
