Description seba 2021-06-10 20:40:28 UTC
Description:
After multiple purges and reinstalls, ppa and snap source, Libreoffice continues to crash while making Master Document and Subdocuments. It creates the subdocuments but not the .odm document and leave debris file named something like lu14227rckgmc.tmp. With openjdk-11 or without.

I also can't find the log file anywhere.

Environment:
Linux Mint 19.3 Mate
Version: 7.1.3.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 12a8e3cbd24a3757385a302d290655d4f3c7ebf1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open my .odt file
2. Send > create new master document
3. wait a few seconds
4. crash
5. recovers .odt file open relaunching

Actual Results:
Exactly as the description says. It crashes and fails to properly produce the .odm and .odt files.

Expected Results:
one .odm file and subdocuments in .odt format.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for reporting the bug.
it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
