Description Tracey 2021-06-23 17:12:10 UTC
Description:
LibreOffice Calc – Enhancement: <right><click> have a <select all> option
When <right><clicking> a <select all> option should be available (like [<Ctrl>+A])
Most windows applications have this option.

Thanks, Tracey
I frequently use <right><click> > to <select all> to make global changes or copying a spreadsheet to paste the data in another application as most windows applications have this option.

Actual Results:
When <right><clicking> then <select all> on a spreadsheet, like [<Ctrl>+A] should be one of the choices/options to [Select All] as most windows applications have this option.

Expected Results:
<right><clicking> then<select all> should be an option

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

How useful is selecting an entire sheet including its full range of empty cells really?

There are already keyboard and mouse click selections, but if you want it simple to use Tools -> Customize and assign the .uno:SelectAll control to any of the Context menus (though you'd probably want it on the Cell context menu).

Otherwise WFM and => WF for adding to Calc context menu by default.
