Version: 7.1.3.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 47f78053abe362b9384784d31a6e56f8511eb1c1 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded IME, it would be very useful if Writer had an option allowing the user to change Endnotes to Footnotes if required (e.g. to cover cases where more than one footnote anchor style is required – see Bug 136554; or perhaps where the user has mistakenly created endonotes and wants to change them all to footnotes). This of course would require Endnotes to have the same options as Footnotes in Tools > Footnotes and Endnotes > Endnotes.
Just to clarify, Endnotes would still be Endnotes; the only thing changing is the dialogue in "Tools > Footnotes and Endnotes > Endnotes", which would incorporate the extra properties available in "Footnotes", so that Endnotes could be co-opted to act as de facto footnotes if needed.
As for Comment 0, I'd say duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 89352 ***
Actually, in light of the enhancement suggestions in Bug 89352 and Bug 136554, this request is probably redundant anyway.
