Description Eleonora Govallo 2021-08-12 13:25:12 UTC
Description:
When i tried to reproduce bug id=138634, i got an opposite result. The presentation didn't pause when i switched to LibreOffice Base (i saw it at second monitor) but when i switched back to Impress i found out that i cant pause the presentation even by pushing pause button, only Esc worked. I definitely know that Impress didn't freeze and if i run the presentation one more time the pause button works.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a slide show containing slides set to change after a certain amount of time.
2. Switch to another program in LibreOffice's Suite.
3. Look at the slide show while it's frozen (if it doesn't happen, simply switch back and forth from Impress to another app from LibreOffice's Suite, and it will eventually happen).
4. Select the slide show (refocus it's window) for the timer to resume.
5. Pause the presentation by pause button on the screen

Actual Results:
The presentation doesn't pause when i push the pause button.

Expected Results:
The presentation pauses when i push the pause button, as if i don't switch to another application.

Reproducible: Always

I could repro bug 138634 and noticed Base doesn't pause, but the others make the slide show pause.

However, I can't reproduce the problem you describe here. I did not use presenter console, though, so I don't have any pause button.
