Description Olivier Hallot 2021-08-12 14:21:45 UTC
I have a Draw file with dozens of screenshots, composed with objects such as callouts, connectors, text boxes and more.

Each drawing is in a page, I need to export each drawing to a PNG file

Issues
1) The "selection" checkbox is not enabled by default in the save dialog
2) The file format selected is JPEG by default.
3) the target directory points to the same default location.

Desired: Configure export defaults for
1) mark "selection" checkbox by default
2) Choose the file format default (in my case PNG)
3) remember last directory used for export.
4) remember last export file parameters and use for the new. It includes
  + The resolution
  + the compression
+ other params related to the file format used

Sound like a reasonable request. Set status to NEW.

On my installation, default export format is tiff...

Best regards. JBF

Rather than adding another option I'd recommend to remember the last used options. And this is requested in bug 89192.

Some projects might need to save at a different path than other, it just depends on the project. The current behavior to use the path where the document is saved/loaded from sounds appropriate in this regards.
