1. Create a new table 2. Go to Properties / Table / Spacing 3. Add a spacing Below 4. Save as .docx 5. Open in LibO The spacing is reset to 0. The same happens for the rest of the "Space" options (Above, Left, Right)
But as far as I know, there's no option to set table spacing in MS Word; if there's no feature in DOCX, it can't be stored there, right? Or would you complain that e.g. font size is not saved to e.g. TXT? :)
(In reply to Mike Kaganski from comment #1) > there's no option to set table spacing in MS Word ... for inline tables (not floating ones). See e.g. https://wordribbon.tips.net/T011729_Spacing_Before_and_After_Tables.html, which discusses the way to create the spacings, and the drawback of that. The floating tables is a missing feature in Writer, so the question is indeed about inline tables, for which there's no corresponding spacing feature in Word.
Thanks for your replies Mike, I was not aware there is not such feature in MS Word (not an MS Word user myself). I am closing this issue (until MS decides to fix it from their side..)
