Change protect option, then go to section to change protect on field. On selecting second field, after a few moments, app crashes. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open document 2.Change protect compatibility optio, then change section properties 3.enter data line 1, then tab to next box. Downloaded and installed 7.2.1, but cabnnot test, as that version is crashing on launch, will report separately if I can. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Due to ongoing issue with application startup, I can only test this issue in safe mode, and when using that mode, and also creating a new user profile for test purposes, the application does not fail. I cannot test in full live mode at present due to ongoing problem with application not loading on startup, reportud under bug ID 144630, which is still present with a default user profile created as a result of renaming my live profile. I have been waiting to ensure that the daily upload has been suitably patched, but I am not completely confident of my ability to test this mode alongside the existing install, so have been proceeding carefully in order to avoid compromising my system.
