Description: When typing in cell the auto-fill feature misses some data typed in the same column above. Sometimes you have to type the whole word, despite the same word was typed above. In the previous version of Calc (7.0) the auto-fill feature worked better, even with short two-character words - these were auto-filled correctly. Steps to Reproduce: 1.type words in several cells in the same column (especially short random abrevation as an ex. "AP", "PL", "RP"). 2.save the file and reopen 3.in the same column type some same words used above Actual Results: Auto-fill works incorrectly, sometimes you have to manually fill the word used above, what makes auto-fill pointless. Auto-fill seems to work ok with words typed in the same session, but badly with words typed in the previous sessions or typed in a distant row. The auto-fill do not work after a typing a single character. Expected Results: Auto-fill should works as in the previous version of Calc. Even when a single character is typed the auto-fill should work. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: pl Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no
Additional info: auto-fill do not work when there is an empty cell in column. It seems the auto-fill range is up to the gap only. It range should be the whole column and gaps should be ignored.
When typing the first character in two-character words, auto-fill works only when use the ctrl-tab key combination. It should work from the fist char. instantly, and ctrl-tab should switch between similar words.
