AutoCorrect topic [1] tells: > To turn on or to turn off the AutoCorrect feature, in LibreOfficeDev Calc choose *Tools - AutoInput* which is completely wrong. AutoInput is a feature to suggest the rest ow the cell based on already existing cells. AutoCorrect is replacement based on rules configured and disabled in Calc in Tools->AutoCorrect Options (to disable, one needs to uncheck stuff on Options and Localized Options tabs). This misinformation is there since at least https://git.libreoffice.org/help/+/4f48bcc7937fbc586af7720d4225768ee6913e2a. [1] https://help.libreoffice.org/7.3/en-US/text/shared/01/06040000.html
Hi Mike! I can confirm this bug. Indeed the information is incorrect in the Help. However, I was wondering if it is possible to implement an option that totally disables AutoCorrect in Calc as is possible in Writer. Obviously this would be an enhancement request.
Rafael Lima committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": https://git.libreoffice.org/help/commit/476d099e11be81ddb1b8388fbb92bc1b7069d2bf tdf#144556 Fix information on deactivating AutoCorrect in Calc
