Description Mike Kaganski 2021-09-16 18:56:21 UTC
AutoCorrect topic [1] tells:

> To turn on or to turn off the AutoCorrect feature, in LibreOfficeDev Calc choose *Tools - AutoInput*

which is completely wrong. AutoInput is a feature to suggest the rest ow the cell based on already existing cells. AutoCorrect is replacement based on rules configured and disabled in Calc in Tools->AutoCorrect Options (to disable, one needs to uncheck stuff on Options and Localized Options tabs).

This misinformation is there since at least https://git.libreoffice.org/help/+/4f48bcc7937fbc586af7720d4225768ee6913e2a.

Hi Mike!

I can confirm this bug. Indeed the information is incorrect in the Help.

However, I was wondering if it is possible to implement an option that totally disables AutoCorrect in Calc as is possible in Writer. Obviously this would be an enhancement request.
