Description Grzegorz Skoczylas 2021-10-01 17:24:21 UTC
So far I have been downloading and distributing LibreOffice using Download Station on my QNAP NAS TS-328 (operating system QTS). So far, there have been no problems with this. Now, when I try to add any torrent file from the https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download webpage, after a while the error message "Incorrect Magnet format (0x4000)" is always displayed.

For verification, I installed uTorrent. This programme also signals some errors for there torrent files.

I just tried and it worked just fine.
Could you please try again ?

note that the torrent link is a direct torrent metadata file, if you wan the magnet URI, you should go to the "Info and checksums" and use the .magnet link from there (or manually replace the URL by replacing the .torrent extension with the .magnet extension)

I use torrent files available at https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/, e.g. https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/7.2.1/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_7.2.1_Win_x64.msi.torrent.

So far I have never had a problem with these links of files, but last weekend trying to use them ended as I described in this problem report.

Today I tried using them again. This time there were no problems. I have no idea why it wouldn't work a few days ago. Because then the problem occurred in two different programs, so I thought the torrent files were corrupt. However, it seems that the problem was somewhere else.

I think that in these circumstances, it is best to close this report.
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
