I tried to reproduce the bug and it worked normally for me, so I changed the status from unconfirmed to RESOLVED → WORKSFORME,
If it's still a bug for you, you can change status back to
UNCONFIRMED and provide more details if possible.

Tried running libreoffice in safe mode, and the problem persists.

What information would be useful?

I was attempting to fix a problem I was having (bug 144847), which cleared when I updated to 7.2.1.2.

I've dropped back to using 7.1.6.2, which works fine, but still looking for a solution so I can go back to 7.2.1.2

Greetings.

I have encountered the same issue on my machine as well. I too am struggling with the performance of LibreOffice Calc in version 7.2.1.2. But there are some differences here, as I'm running LibreOffice on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS (Focal Fossa) instead of Windows 10 Pro. I have installed LibreOffice 7.2.1.2 from the stable channel via Snap Store (https://snapcraft.io/libreoffice).

I can confirm that the reproduction steps provided by user ravenkwill in the first comment will cause a high latency between actual keyboard input and the corresponding data entry in LibreOffice Calc.
After switching back to LibreOffice 7.2.0.4 by changing to the candidate channel via snap everything is working pretty smooth.

I have already tried turning on and off the hardware acceleration features (GPU, OpenCL) as well as anti-aliasing but to no avail. The issue still occurs.
