Description Marek Ľach 2021-10-22 11:33:48 UTC
Description:
It would be very useful for writing large documents to design some kind of a distraction-free mode at the click of a button into LibreOffice Writer, that'd close all panels except leaving a small, very minimalistic top panel with close, save, open and formatting text buttons.

Steps to Reproduce:
This is a new feature request for a kind of distraction-free writing mode, similar to ones present in iaWriter, Obsidian.md and so on, into LibreOffice Writer.

Actual Results:
This is still just a feature request. The functionality does not currently exist yet.

Expected Results:
A semi-fullscreen experience for writing, with minimal formatting tools present if the distraction-free mode would be enabled.

Reproducible: Always

Already provided with current Full screen (<Ctrl>+<Shift>+j) edit mode for Writer. Of course room for improvements. Setting dupe of bug 37817.
