Steps how to reproduce NOT reproducible REPRODUCIBLE with Installation of Version:7.2.1.2 (x64); Build ID: 87b77fad49947c1441b67c559c339af8f3517e22; CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win; Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE; Calc: threaded | my default User Profile:

0. download and unzip attachment 176392 [details] from
'Bug 145775 - reflected png image prints without reflecting'
1. Open writer document from test kit
2. Menu ˋFormat → Page Style → Marginsˊ
3. All 4 page margins -> 0 → [ok]
(+ [Yes] for ... although out of print range ...")
» Expected: Table looks like before (more or less), only page margins
     have vanished
Actual: Row heights will no longer respect picture heights, see
             attached "SampleDocument_1.pdf"

Additional information
a) Save → Close → Reopen will not heal the problem.
b1) Page margin 1 mm (instead of 0mm) also shows the problem
b2) Page margin 19 mm (instead of 0mm) will not show the problem
Comment 1 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2021-11-21 09:07:45 UTC
b) In further tests only reduction of left + right margin shows the problem.
Only top + bottom margin or only left or only right margin do not show the
   Problem
c) affects pictures with "anchor TO character" and "anchor to paragraph",
   but not "anchor AS character"
Comment 2 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2021-11-21 11:13:16 UTC
Original report: Damned Copy/Paste. Of course intro should be "Steps how to reproduce with Installation of ..."

b3) No problem with Margins 9 mm, but visible with margin 8 mm
But seems not to be related directly with page margins, but with
adapting table column width. If I switch table width properties from
"relative" to 170 mm, the problem will not occur
d) seems indeed to be related to .png. Not reproducible with 640 px width .jpg
But may be the difference is related to different handling of .png and
.jpg? Insert .jpg also with a small 640x480 picture.jpg always fills complete
writer page, inserting a 640x480 picture.png inserts a small pic.

Repro with Version: 7.2.3.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 1d5dee817bde88d78dbcc0d00f88492568e131d5
CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

and with LibreOffice 3.3.0
OOO330m19 (Build:6)
tag libreoffice-3.3.0.4

and with OOo 3.2.0.

Dear Rainer Bielefeld Retired,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa
