Description: Today I was for the first time writing an equation-heavy document with writer. During editing, suddenly trying to edit most existing equations gave a popup "OLE Error". After closing the file, and reopening it, all but a few equations are shown as just "Object 22", etc. Inspecting the files raw XML contents, I've found that the objects are MISSING from the document entirely. The issue occurred shortly after I made several changes using the "graphical" equaton editing mode, i.e. when double-clicking an equation to edit, and then editing directly in the rendered representation. However, it wasn't the first time I did so. Symptoms seem similar to https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125585&GoAheadAndLogIn=1, but it looks like the cause is more severe, as the contents are missing and thus not recoverable. Klaus, thank you for reporting the bug. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
@Dieter, Sadly reproducing the issue is hard. I cannot reproduce it intentionally, but in the case where it happened it caused effectively complete destruction of the document, prompting me to write a bug report regardless. Trying again to search for similar issues, I found https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125585 today. So my bug report may be a duplicate after all. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 125585 ***
