Description: Create a document with 5 normal pages. Then insert an endnote, so now you have 6 pages, five of which are normal and the last is used for endnotes. Then put the cursor on the first page and press Ctrl+End. What you expect (at least on Windows and Linux; I don't use macOS) is to see that the cursor have moved the very end of the document. But instead of this, it stops right before the page that is used for endnotes. This is strange and doesn't look correct. The same for Ctrl+Shift+End and Ctrl+A. TDF#99096 has a similar issue.
Not selecting "virtual text" is reasonable to me. Whether foot- or endnotes, the actual text belongs to the word where you add the information. Would you also expect comments to be selected - actually highlighted, as they are selected like F/E are - on Ctrl+A
