Created attachment 177091 [details] Contex menu without "To the side" I have a problem with the function "Anchoring=>To the side" in the context menu. This function is under right click => Properties =>Type" but not in the context menu, if you select with a right click => Anchorage. Here the point should be reworked.
This is not a bug. The wanted property is *not* anchoring, but positioning. It may be set either in the properties dialog, or on the properties sidebar, and also using Align Objects context menu. But in all cases, what you change then is *not* alignment. See also: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Faq/Writer/AnchoringAndPositioning
(In reply to Mike Kaganski from comment #1) > But in all cases, what you change then is *not* alignment Sorry for the thinko - that should be "But in all cases, what you change then is *not* anchoring".
Created attachment 177102 [details] Eigenschaften mit Menüpunkt But it is the anchoring and not the positioning. I want to anchor a text, images etc. to a point and also in the German translation there is talk of "Verankerung", both under Properties and in the context menu. That this point belongs in this menu is explained by the fact that they are the same points that do the same tasks. Maybe we are talking at cross purposes or you mean something completely different as I do, but here it is clearly a bug, because an important item is missing. I also think that this item was there in previous versions, but I haven't used it in a long time, so I don't know when it was. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
