A [B example

Actual Behaviour
Search window/slot will not omit tracked deleted characters when performing searches.

Expected Behaviour
Search window/slot should omit tracked deleted characters when performing searches.

Reproduce
Open the attached document:
A [B (here the [ has been deleted with tracking on)
A B
A [B

If I search A B I should find Ex. 1 and 2, but I find only 2.
If I search A [B I find both 1 and 3 but I should only find 3.

I completely disagree with this bug report. The desired result can easily be achieved by simply turning off "View Tracked Changes' - and that should be an obvious enough workaround for any user who is being bothered by 'finding' deletions.

Finding must be able to find deletions in track changes. Otherwise, those who DO need to search a document for 'old' text would not have any way to accomplish it. MS Word also works this way.
