Description Ulrich Moser 2022-04-03 16:44:52 UTC
Description:
When installing LibreOffice it installs a long list of fonts while most users only use a small subset of this. This requires to clean up the font list after each install using the font manager provided by the platform (lile Ubuntu in my case). My suggestion is to allow the user/administrator to select the fonts to install prior to installation or the package the fonts in separate sub-packages of LibreOffice which can be installed optionally.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fresh install of LibreOffice from ppa
2.
3.

Actual Results:
on installation the full set of fonts provided in the LibreOffice packages is installed

Expected Results:
Only those fonts that I need / want to provide for the users should be installed. The installation routine should allow to select fonts or enable to selectively install fonts from the options menu

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes
