Description loic_dupont 2022-05-30 17:17:44 UTC
This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-304b1511-7bbf-40fe-9a7e-0a9e77af2893.
=========================================

I was adding some images by copy-paste.
There is already several images over the document.
It worked well for the full day, until crash when I moved a few centimeters an image i just pasted in the document.

The recovery of the document shows that it has been well "registered" (it is still here when I open the "restored file from crash")

And to finish, i am in 7.3.2.2 but it's the "latest version" in the help menu, because when I request update, dialog says that "LO 7.3 is up to date".

Hope it helps.

This must be a bug dunce you had it. But to be useful it must be reproducible.
And some crashes are simply avoided with LO usee profile rename. Please do.

Hi Timur, thanks for the review of bug...

I understand that it's an unpredictible bug (hard to reproduce)...
I will try to file it again if it happens again, with reproductability :)

On the other hand, i'm sorry to not understand what you mean by "some crashes are simply avoided with LO usee profile rename"... What should I do ? (You can send me to a Help page to RTFM if you want!) ;-)

Thanks for your explaination.

It's https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile
You remove LO user profile folder at %APPDATA%\libreoffice\4\user.

Worth trying as first remedy.

Since you are at Windows 10, please also try https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps at "Graphics-related issues ( Skia )".
You turn off Skia in Options-View.

I'am unable to reproduce accurately the bug. It's too unpredictable.
