Description:
Check for updates get errors

Steps to Reproduce:
1.help button in menu bar
2. check for updates in sub-menu bar
3. dialog open with error 

Actual Results:
dialog open with error

Expected Results:
real answer about version q updates or go to download process

@Shlomo, still have connection issues on check for updates?  Had 7.3.4 and now 7.3.5 available; and 7.4.0 in the gate.
