sample doc

Hi,

converting .docx to .pdf using this command

"C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\soffice" --headless --convert-to pdf:writer_pdf_Export C:/Users/prasad/test_docs Doc_to_pdf_wrong.docx

output pdf document is either missing lot of pages or merging two pages of content into one page.

Attached a sample document, getting pages 2 and 3 into one page.

Please look into this document

Thanks,
Prasad G.

Attached sample document where one page is being missed from final pdf document.

FYI - If i open this document using ms word app and saveit as .pdf, it works fine.

We are using comtypes python package to convert .doc/.docx to .pdf as we are seeing issues with LibreOffice tool, where it is not converting .doc/.docx to .pdf properly.

I see this ticket is not assigned to any one.
Please change the severity from Normal to Critical and assign some one to this ticket.
This is actually critical as doc to pdf is not accurate i.e, missing pages or combining multiple pages data into one page.

Thanks.

You shouldn't change the status to NEW yourself, it should do someone another who can reproduce your problem.

Please attach the full DOCX document for testing.

Both attached documents will show only 2 pages when opened in LO Writer. So this has nothing to do with pdf-export. Might be there are special problems converting *.docx.

Writer will show most of the content on page 2 in a frame. A frame couldn't be bigger than a page.
