Description: Create a new menu to define, view, edit and delete ranges of cells: Enhancement asked to make easier hide or show range of cells (rows and/or columns) on worksheets. With this tool, several ranges of visible cells can be predefined on the same worksheet to use according to the user's requirement, without having to repeat, manually, the process of showing or hiding the rows and/or columns that you need visible. Actual Results: doesn't exist Expected Results: on FORMAT menu: Format-> View Range -> Define (to define the range of cells to view on screen) -> Call (to activate the rage of cells to use for work) -> Edit (to hide or show ranges of cells on a defined range) -> Clear (to delete a defined range of cells) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Something similar to the Print range's tool, But only to predefine a visible cell ranges to work.
Please don't set up your own report as new, except you are going to assign it to yourself, to work in it.
Ramon do you want the fast way to change a spreadsheet view on the screen from A1:O35 to AL450:AZ480? Or you want automatic changes the grouping status for columns/rows?

Hi. My request is about a fast way to change a spreadsheet view, a way of change the range of cells (rows and columns) to view and work through the option of using a range of visible cells named.

UX-team, what do you think here?
I don't see what a menu would do better (or easier) that the Name Box already does, except maybe what the request calls "Edit" (which it isn't) to hide/show columns or rows of a range; click or Shift+Ctrl+T to focus, then * type in a cell range reference and hit Enter to mark/select that * define a new name for a marked/selected cell range by typing it in * type in an already defined named range to select its cells, or choose from listed named ranges Apart from that, the Format menu would not be the right place as it is not formatting. More likely under Edit, as there is already the Select entry.

Maybe I just don't understand. What do you call "show/hide cells"? Hide/Show is available for entire columns or rows only. What exactly should happen with "Edit (to hide or show ranges of cells on a defined range)" and "Call (to activate the rage of cells to use for work)"?
