Description michael.platzer 2022-07-06 08:09:50 UTC
On Arch Linux the PDFs produced by LibreOffice 7.3.4.2 do not render text that uses the Cantarell font. The font is provided by the package cantarell-fonts, installed as a dependency of GNOME.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a LibreOffice program (e.g., Writer or Calc) and type some text.

2. Select the Cantarell font for some of the text.

3. Export the document as a PDF (via the "Export Directly as PDF" button).

4. Open the created PDF with a PDF viewer (e.g., evince). The text that uses the Cantarell font does not appear in the PDF. Text using other fonts is rendered normally.
