Description andréb 2022-07-26 03:10:44 UTC
When editing a cell, and selecting the special characters option, one is presented with unicode tables.
(Over 30 pages of 96 characters/page.)

There is a option to add characters to a much smaller preferred (or favorite) table, which saves a considerable time over scanning the unicode tables to find the wanted characters.
This preferred table is limited to 16 characters.

In my use case (pinyin alphabet), there are exactly 24 different characters used.
So I suggest doubling the size of this table to 32 characters, which would help other users regularly using more than 16 characters.

I support this idea. We could allow a larger number of special characters to be defined by the user.

I am setting this to NEW.
