Description Hossein 2022-10-07 14:31:12 UTC
Description:
Pressing and holding ctrl+o in the start center, opens multiple file open dialogs. This is annoying, and as the keyboard starts repeating the pressed key after a short delay, it is possible that you accidentally open multiple file open dialogs.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice, remain in the start center.
2. Press and hold ctrl+o
3. Wait until you see multiple copies of file open dialog.

Actual Results:
Multiple file open dialogs are opened. You can press alt+tab to see other dialogs, and ESC to close them one by one.

Expected Results:
Only one file open dialog should be created.

Reproducible: Always

Can you test and see if the problem is reproducible when selecting/deselecting this option?

Tools > Options > General > Open/Save Dialogs > Use LibreOffice dialogs

That doesn't make any difference.

Do you use Xorg or Wayland session ?

I reproduced this once with GTK3, with GTK3 file dialogs, but when I tried it again, it did not happen. I thought it might be some specific focus and I tried to change the focus in the start center, but still could not reproduce. Tried with in-built dialog and could not reproduce. Still setting to NEW as I'm now the second person to have seen this.
