Hello. There is a recurrent display problem on the texts in Writer, the sentences are not displayed correctly, you have to press "space" or "enter" so that the display is replaced each time, whatever the size of the letters or the "font" used. And it's been going on for a long time. No one reported it to you? or does it bother you? With certain eye problems, it is very unpleasant. I can't explained better, I'm french (and have trouble with technical english). Please look into this bug.

On which env are you? (Windows, Linux, macOS) Which LibreOffice version do you use? For your information, last stable is 7.3.6 or there's brand new 7.4.2 Then you can try to apply https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps (it might be Skia related part).
I use Windows 11, with the new version of LO 7.4.2.3 (x64). it's not new for the view, until severals months
(In reply to Carole Rousseaux from comment #4) > I use Windows 11, with the new version of LO 7.4.2.3 (x64). > it's not new for the view, until severals months Thank you for the feedback. So could you give a try at Skia part in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Graphics-related_issues_.28_Skia_.29 ?
I used to get this kind of rendering problems as well. But I'm on Linux (kf5). See f.i. bug 149322 showing the problem. Recently though this issue became rarer. But it still happens. I don't know what's to blame for this, but I'd like to point out that this is not Windows-only.

Could you give a try to Skia part of my previous comment?
(In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #7) > Rafael: ok reading quickly tdf#149322, with gen rendering, no pb. > Could you give a try to Skia part of my previous comment? In my case I have "UI render: default", so it seems it's not Skia-related, is it? Also, the problem is not nearly as serious as the one I showed in the video. Now only occasionally do I get some lines of text tearing as Carole showed in the attached images. I'd say this ticked is related to bug 139296.
Thank you for the feedback. Let's put this one to NEW then (I don't think it's a dup of tdf#139296 since there's no need to scroll or tdf#149322 since there's no page down). Finally about "UI render: default", I must recognize I don't know.
The related Bug 149322 was recently fixed (for LibreOffice 7.4.4 and 7.5). Could you please test to see if you can still see the issue you describe, using a recent development build available here: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html Thank you!
