Description Roland White 2022-10-20 13:01:08 UTC
For example, a cell may contain something like:

Bittner, Jacques: Suite in g-moll [ID2276]; Bach, Johann Sebastian: Suite in e-moll; Benguerel, Xavier: Versus [ID2278]; Rawsthorne, Alan: Elegy; Diabelli, Anton: Sonate [ID2280]

where the entries "IDxxxx" formatted with different character colors. After changing anything all character colors are lost.

Hi Roland, thanks for reporting.

Can you please share a sample file where the problem occurs? And also provide which steps we should take to reproduce the bug?

Also, copy and paste the info in the Help - About LibreOffice dialog.

Sample file

Open file "LvB-test.ods". Note that entries "IDxxxx" (column "I") formatted either dark red, green or blue.

Mark column "I".

Invoke search & replace (Ctrl-H).

Replace "Tschaikowsky" (or whatever) by "XXXXXX".

As a result all colors in affected cells are lost.

Problem is annoying since many years.
