For example, a cell may contain something like: Bittner, Jacques: Suite in g-moll [ID2276]; Bach, Johann Sebastian: Suite in e-moll; Benguerel, Xavier: Versus [ID2278]; Rawsthorne, Alan: Elegy; Diabelli, Anton: Sonate [ID2280] where the entries "IDxxxx" formatted with different character colors. After changing anything all character colors are lost.
Hi Roland, thanks for reporting. Can you please share a sample file where the problem occurs? And also provide which steps we should take to reproduce the bug? Also, copy and paste the info in the Help - About LibreOffice dialog.

Invoke search & replace (Ctrl-H). Replace "Tschaikowsky" (or whatever) by "XXXXXX". As a result all colors in affected cells are lost.
